    Tenacity Pet Abilities

    Hi,

I have a crab for PvP and I'm not having a lot of luck with the special abilities. Pin works just fine but intervene and roar of sacrifice don't.

I have "self cast" set to on in the options screen but when I press the pets ability it doesn't work - do I need to click on myself first and then press the button?

I guess it'll be better if I can macro it in but that would mean using up 2 of MY button slots for pet abilities

But what if you don't want to use those 2 together, like if a Lock has you in his sights and you want to use intervene and aren't snared in any way?

Also - how about Roar of Sacrifice?

Pro tip - you can have more than one macro.

yeah I know but a lot of my action bar is already used up for other things.

Anyway, the question is - do you have to be targeted to use the ability? I guess from the answer of a macro above, the answer is a yes.

    Re: Tenacity Pet Abilities

im sorry... i thought it was a troll...

i for myself use deterrance roar and battlemaster as a panik button

    #show tooltip deterrance
    /cast [target=player] roar of sacrifice
/cast [target=player] Intervene //keep min max range of this in mind!
    /cast deterrance
    /cast feign death
    /use 13 //(BM trinket)

i'm from germany so please be aware of the spelling of the abilities
i put this macro on shift 2
    shift 1 is trinket
    shift 3 is freezing trap

Intervene i've set on auto. I use it manually just when i try to catch a kidney shot with a seperate macro.
I macro'd pin to my burst either (RF and readyness since I'm MM)

I also started to extend the keybindings one by one (2by2 - cause i always linked it with shift) this helps to find the proper bindings and abilities on the bindings. (on my hunter in both pve and pvp specc "R" is the main attack explo and CS) try a bit to figure it out and don't forget to bind your mouse buttons either

The only problem is i have not enough macro slots available. Does anyone have a solution?!

For intervene to work properly your pet needs to be at least like 10 yards away from you, if it's just at your side on passive it won't work as far as I've seen.
