    Yes. The "high amount of threat" is front loaded and has nothing to do with the dot. The damage from the attack is primarily based on the dot, which has a low threat modifier.

    PS: Looks like the threat modifier is 20%, not 30. So only 20% of the DoT damage is applied to threat.

    looking through some stuff, the only examples talking about swiping rather than lacerating were from 2007-2008. A bit on tankspot seems to disagree with your threat values of the lacerate dot:

    Lacerate (Initial)__________________________________ (.5*damage + 515) * stance
