Re: Non Battle.net Accounts offline on November 12th

I have a question that wasn't answered on the Q/A and was hoping someone could help me. My account is currently inactive, does merging with battle.net force me to reactivate it and pay the payment? The terms of use says this

ix.Fees. You agree to pay all fees and applicable taxes incurred by you or anyone using an Account registered to you. If you choose a recurring subscription for any Game, you acknowledge that payments will be processed automatically (e.g., debited from your account or charged to your credit card) until you cancel the subscription or the Account. Blizzard may revise the pricing for the goods and services offered through the Service, including without limitation subscription plans for any Game, at any time. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT BLIZZARD IS NOT REQUIRED TO PROVIDE A REFUND FOR ANY REASON, AND THAT YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE MONEY BACK FOR PREPAID TIME WHEN THE ACCOUNT IS CLOSED, WHETHER SUCH CLOSURE WAS VOLUNTARY OR INVOLUNTARY.

If your asking what i think you are, no, you don't need to re activate to merge and there is no payment required for merging with battle.net. You can merge your account with a battle.net account at any time provided it isn't a banned account, no money is needed.

I don't understand why some people are against merging their account to battle.net - I find it a great conveneince having all your Blizz products under your battle.net account.

87% of the time you see a statistic 34% of the time it was made up.
You face not Malchezaar alone, but the legions he commands.

in case no one caught on (i only searched the first 5 pages) Oswald Cobblepot was the name the Penguin took up in batman returns.

    EDIT:
NM, someone obviously already posted this (on page 11 even >.<)

Actually, they did during the Wrath of the Lich King beta. They planned on it a lot earlier but it never came to be til the near future.

We even got the penguin in beta.

Another bit of uniqueness disappearing. One of the biggest draws about Pengu was the red eyes. /sigh...

Too stupid to read the posts? Quick to jump to conclusions? People who converted to battle.net early still get it come nov 12ish.

A: Once you’ve successfully merged a World of Warcraft account with a Battle.net account, the penguin pet will be sent via in-game mail to all existing characters on the merged World of Warcraft account, along with all future characters on that World of Warcraft account. Players who merged previously will also receive the pet this way.

I merged a while back, it took 10 minutes of my time.

I actually was able to write down my new secret questions in a safe place since I had forgotten my original WoW ones, so probably a good thing I merged.

You are incorrect, you are also a complete fucking retard.

You =/= 99% of "wow players".

Do not post this useless QQ shit without any proof whatsoever.

Imho, does this mean 3.3 will be released on 11 November together with the new battle.net features?

The 3.3 release sounds logical since its been a year we set foot in Northrend.

    Well, duh.
