Is it at 80? Is there a time where I'd be able to outkill my pet's aggro-loss if I'm not BM, or can a bear still keep enough aggro for soloing as SV?

Imo get a bear, go BM, and AoE farm mobs. Thats what I did to take my hunter from 70-80 when WOTLK came out. Of course, Im not sure if it works without 2pc t5.... which i had, and is amazing...

2pc t5 makes such a massive difference its not funny...specially when your volley'ing, your pets hp shouldn't nearly be moving:X Originally Posted by VonGimli

For best possible raid dps, soon as you get 80.
If you're a casual player, whenever you feel like it. BM does enough to be viable, although it's found lacking vs the other 2 spec.
I personnaly will switch to sv once 80 with my new hunter.
