But that's still not quite right, because the value of ArP isn't based solely on your ArP; it scales with Agility, crit, AP, etc. as well (IE, Hunter A with 1100 ArP might be getting a value of 1.65 DPS per ArP point, while Hunter B with 1100 ArP might be at 1.85 per point, due to having more Crit, blah blah blah.)

So yes, that would be a good indicator of approximately when ArP becomes the way to gem, but even that's not quite exact because of the rather intricate way in which stats scale with each other. Remember, ArP doesn't just scale with itself, and pretty much every other stat also gets better the more ArP you get. It's really quite a complex web of inter-relation.
