is WoW worth coming back to?

Hey guys,
i have not played WoW for about 4 months(a bit before ToC came out i quit) because of boredom i would just log on to raid etc..
i had a level 80 pally tank, wondering if this game is any better then b4 or any harder etc.. because at the moment not playing it is prob even more boring, lol

play console games...I only ever get on for the raids nowadays. In the times between raids, I just go read or play games on my xbox lol

in my opinion only logging on for raids is pointless i pvp all the time and im getting ticked at all the raging so im damn near quiting myself. meaning in my opinion No.

Well, I think the only reason I really am staying is because of lore. All I do is level alts now, that or read wowwiki. Might Transfer to a RP realm

Anyways, if you do come back, try something new. Level a new character, on a new realm or on a new faction. Change is good.

yea about alts, the furthest i ever got an alt in Wotlk was a druid 1 to 71 then couldnt do it anymore, faction change could make it more fun but since im still in ulduar gear coz havent played in a long time then i would prob end up in a noob guild, i know that my pally is still in my old guild and welcome to raid again if i want, but yea hmm

lol people like me are realistic thats all, I love the game, I hate whats happened to it on a difficulty scale. Unless you've lived under a rock since BC you'd know its a common mind state for a lot of players these days. I just happen to be one of them.

Cause epics were ever hard m i right? It's just a color of gear, and harder content still gives much better gear than easier content. Nothing has changed except that you can play end-game at whatever tier of content you're interested in, as long as you're ok with getting crappier loot for babysitting fewer children.

I don't think it's worth coming back to after 4 months off. Not because I think it's a bad game, or it's boring or anything like that, more for the fact that nothing has really changed since then. I'd say come back for ICC if you were in a good guild (Or think you can easily get in to one) that will be doing raid progression. If not then wait until Cataclysm.

ICC isnt that far off tho is it, i see its on PTR's and if i was to come back and raid with my old guild i would prob have to come back a little before ICC so i can get all the new gear? seeing im still in ulduar 25 gear

It's really not that common. Your kind are just the most... vocal. People like you have been complaining about being bored with WoW even since vanilla, since TBC, and now into Wrath. You can complain about the "difficulty" as much as you want, but I really, really doubt that the amount of people saying they're "bored with WoW" are actually end-game raiders like they pretend, too.

Incidentally, not a single one of your characters is very far into even Ulduar as far as I can tell. What right do you have to talk about difficulty, exactly? Enlighten me.
