IDK about you but I got a 15,8k LvB in my face thru 800resi not too long ago in SoTA

I smell bullshit. I'm in close to BiS gear and my Lava Burst hits for a max of around 18.3k (no Thunderfall) in a fully buffed 25 man raid including demo warlock. Unless you had some sort of debuff on you, or the player had over 3.8k spellpower AND popped 2 +spellpower trinkets AND you had CoE on you, AND you had <500 resilience, then you didnt get hit for 15.8k from Lava Burst.

On a more serious note... I'd say anything over 10k on a well PvP geared players is just over the top.
The change was "needed" if you ask me.
