Parry and Glancing Blows, how these mechanics work?

Ok, so, this guy in my vent is saying that as a tank, if you parry an attack, there is runover damage that you still feel in the form of Glancing Blows.

Last I checked, this didn't happen. A successful Parry completely nullified an incoming frontal attack, and that Glancing Blows were what we could possibly inflict upon a mob.

    Someone confirm?

A parried attack does no damage. That guy is wrong.

You can only gain advantages from parrying. Your swing timer get's shorter for your next melee attack, sometimes reset. So you hit him more often the more you parry.
