well for the most part, yea
its hitting ret pvp the hardest
prot doesn't really use it in pve too much because there is generally a holy pally with a SS on them
and prot pvp is lulz for mana usage

BUT I figured we haven't been nerfed in a while, so I figured ret was due for one

only usable in heroics, but with this nerf that is not even viable anymore

This is probably aimed directly at Prot. Prot is pretty stupid in arenas right now.

Ret definitely needs help. But, like Hunters and DKs, Ret gets thrown at the bottom of the pile of things to do.

Man o man if this goes live...Rets are gonna take alot of dmg for pvp and I can imagine alot of Rets are gonna get kicked from teams. I have a harder time healing Ret paladins when I may go Holy. If they do that then they need to boost dmg up to compensate for that. Thats a huge kick in the junk if ya ask me.

In BG's I throw SS on myself in group fights. Usually, Allies think I bubbled when they see my SS pop, so they leave me alone. Even if SS had no damage prevention at all, it will always be my favorite decoy!

Blizzard really must be kiding.

Prot Healing was already nerfed to the ground. It's not a issue anymore. But nerfing Sacred Shield like this will destroy paladins.

Holy Paladins can not afford to cast a Holy Shock every 6 seconds. Holy Paladins do not have a 100% critical rating in pve full-raid buffed, and we have less than 40% with pvp gear. Huge nerf to the already weakest pvp healing spec in the game.
