Well you do still get the HoT effect on any Flash of Light when you have SS up but ya, other than that it's damn near worthless for a mere 2k~ dmg absorbed in a 30 second period. This is going to really hurt ret survivability in PVP since most good ret players ALWAYS have this up.

Also I wouldn't say it's terribly hard to use, but it does require some skill. You have to watch and make sure the spell is still up and also watch for the actual adsorption effect to go off if you want the increased 50% crit rate on your FoL.

SS was my FAVORITE mechanic... WAS. Keeping it up every 30 sec. This is really going to ruin the fun factor.

hmmmmm i might be bias because im holy 80% of the time but this change doesnt really bother me. its gonna hurt ret in pvp on dmg mitigation but thats bout it the hot will still work and when it comes to pve you usually always have a holy paladin in raid (so it aint hurting prot too bad... unless you dont run w/ any holy's).

And now we gotta dip so deep into holy it wouldnt be considered a ret sepc anymore to get it back to how it is atm...and our survivability is weak enough as it is, I just don't see myself get by with bubble alone...Well not totaly alone , i got an imba shield that removes liek liek 5-600 damage every 30 secs, it's next to useless without the talent now. It will also hurt those tank paladins that run 10 mans (yes the one no one care) without a single holy paladin healing. You can say goodbye to a really darn good damage shave off.

Not to mention this change is a truck slamming itself to Ret PvP, which doesn't happen to need it at all, and screwing with it big time.

Blizzard really must be kiding.

Prot Healing was already nerfed to the ground. It's not a issue anymore. But nerfing Sacred Shield like this will destroy paladins.

Holy Paladins can not afford to cast a Holy Shock every 6 seconds. Holy Paladins do not have a 100% critical rating in pve full-raid buffed, and we have less than 40% with pvp gear. Huge nerf to the already weakest pvp healing spec in the game.

What game are you playing?
This does not effect Holy at all. You must not play arena much because the 2v2 bracket is full of Prot/Holy paladins at sub-2,000. This is mainly a Prot-healing/Ret 2v2 nerf.

The so called "nerf" that blizzard threw at Prot-healing palys in 3.2 was -300ish spell power and +10 sec on the HoJ CD. They still rape pretty hard btw.

Its a nerf for all paladins moron, infusion of light does not always proc and Prot Paladins use SS aswell. Go back to your old main if you're going to cry.
