am i missing something? (Item question)

I have currently got Sash of ancient power equipped, but also have inchowl cinch in my bank (only 232 version).

Stats for each are
sash

63 stam
64 int
2 sockets
sp + 81
haste + 49
hit + 43

Icehowl

68 stam
63 int
2 socket
sp + 96
haste+ 60
hit+ 57


Now for some reason when i switch from the Sash to the icehowl i loose 0.5% crit and i cant figure out why

Yep, sounds like you lost your Meta activation.

Sash of Ancient power has 2 gem slots (3 with the eternal belt buckle you should also have). One is blue and you need 2 blue gems to activate your meta gem.

The Icehowl (normal 10 man) only has 1 gem slot (2 as above), and it's yellow. If you're matching slots, you lost your meta gem activation. It's easy to do if you don't watch carefully.

The fact that one item has 3 gem slots and the other has 2 makes them nearly equivalent in terms of DPS value though. I never upgraded (passed) on the toons I have that crafted the SOAP.

21 crit from meta is .5%, so these guys are correct.

yeah that must be it, i couldn't get my head around it for some reason.

I'm planning to get alot more haste so was looking at differant options.

The sash was gemmed etc and the other wasnt which would be why i lost it and yes of course they've got buckles :>
