Leading the Knights of the Ebon Blade? They'll still be around in Cataclysm. The Knights of the Ebon Blade may branch out into another minor faction, Cenarion Circle -> Cenarion Expedition -> D.E.H.T.A. style.

I don't get why people are ruling out Sylvanas so easily...

Sylvanas would make the most sense from tieing up the whole Scourge story line.

Sylvanas becomes the lich queen --> draws the ranks of the scourge into the forsaken --> Blizzard never has to mention the scourge / lich king threat ever again.

If they make someone else the lich king, surely theres always the possibility that they will go bad and use the scourge for more bad things!

The only Problem would be that there is supposed to be war again between alliance and Horde, and i dont think the Alliance could do something against the Combined forces of the Scourge and Horde. Not to mention the power you get from beeing the LichKing.

I think some third Faction should do it. So i Vote vor one of the Mograines.
