Crossfaction heirlooms

I have no idea wether or not it's been said before, but I couldn't find anything so...

Since heirlooms are BOA, why is it not possible (since pvp restrictions are removed) that you can send heirlooms to another of *your own* toons on the same realm?
Sure, you cannot mail to other factions, but since it's heirlooms.. can't they make an exception?
Would be pointless to have to level 2 chars to 80 on BOTH factions if you just want some characters on both sides right?

Not only has is been seen many times in the past few days..

But Blizzard has already stated they intend for cross-faction BoA items to be implemented in 3.3. However they have not confirmed that it will be.

In short; It's going to happen, sooner or later.

I wouldn't mind any non in-game available BoA leveling items by $10! I wouldn't actually mind buying a couple of levels with $10!
