Geared Lock out playing in the world - need some advice.

I'm a decently geared Lock that would like to get the best build, glyphs, and approach for soloing high-level elites in the world and doing some older instances with pet tanking. Not asking you to hold my hand. Just thoughts that I may not think of as far as controlling threat and pulling off of Void while doing the necessary damage to kill the MOB/Boss. I'm sure the affliction leveling build is going to be close with Glyph of Voidwalker and Agony, etc. Please share your thoughts on this if you have any. Thanks.

there is 2 options depending on how hard the elites are.
either you go affliction for drain tanking, if you're aiming to solo harder elites I would probably go deeper into demonology
