This will look really good on my troll female. Its decent set but not really anything special (considering the time we were waiting for the preview). I'm better off without the helm graphic I think

ppl are saying, its looks more connected with spirit, like thats an excuse for how lame it looks. Maybe im used to the over the top shoulders but if they were going to go spirit there was a ton of directions they could take without slapping wooden planks on our shoulders and giving us antlers...neither is appreciated...if they wanted to go the native american route they could've given us something alot more tauren-esque...we look like a more detailed version of the Vyrkul frost witches, hence the set name...but that doesn't make it look shaman and it doesn't make it look good...i'd prefer my massive rocks chained to a burning pitt shoulders over this anyday...

This IS shamanistic yes, but in a more real world way. Warcraft shaman have always been much more about the elements then the spiritual realm. Now im not saying that the spiritual aspect should be ignored at all, but i am saying that if they wanted to add it to a set then why this ethereal "stag"? why not something like a ghost wolf? or even the undead vykrul. I personally think that this is a bit removed from the image of a "warcraft" shaman.

But all that said, i don't think the set looks bad at all, just that i don't think it's perfectly fitting.

Go read Lord of the Clans. Thrall does almost nothing with the elements in that book and spends the majority of his time as a shaman in it communing with spirits and asking them for help. In fact, that's how he does he work with the elements - he asks the spirits to aid him, not controlling the elements directly.
