What am I doing wrong?

I know my rotation is correct, I know my glyphs are correct, so It must be my gear that is giving me trouble. I have almost 4.9k gearscore and I'm doing much less dps than I should be. Here's my armory link. http://www.wowarmory.com/character-s...&n=Drumrollplz. Please tell me what to fix!

Replace any gear with Spirit or Mp5 on it, since neither benefit ele in any way. Also, the fetish trinket is not all that great for elemental. The Abyssal Rune out of Heroic 5 Man ToC is much better. Other than that, read what the previous posters said. Fix your spec, and also change your bracer enchant.

1. Change Glyph CL for ToW. And if you get rid of your T8 2 piece get FS for Lava. Exchange ToW for Lava when you reach 4 piece T9 or 3.2k SP.

3. exchange your chest enchant for 10 all stats.

4. get rid of your resto-stuff. mp5 is not good 4 u and you got quite a lot of it the only mp5-thingy should be http://www.wowhead.com/?item=47223 , cause it got great haste/SP on it and there is no ele-alternative.

5. furthermore don´t go for crit. especially the Crit/Stam gem in your chest is useless. the priority is: Hit>>>>>>>>SP>>Haste>>>>>>>>>>>Crit

6. do you even match the 2 blue sockets for your meta?! maybe i`m just blind ???

7. for your gloves the epic SP/Haste gem would be better than pure SP.

after all you just need to exchange your high amount of Crit/mp5 for SP/Haste and you´ll be fine

Trash CL glyph for Flame shock

Get 4set t9 with craft cloth chest

Yellow sockets = sp/haste gems
2 blue sockets for meta = sp/stam
Rest = Red

drop hit and stack haste from gear

Chest enchant - i agree 10stats is a bit meh but it gives stam and 250 mana is barely 1 bolt, if you oom youre doing it wrong

What you need to fix is your reading comprehension. There is an FAQ provided for a reason mate. Read than and THEN come back and ask. Its clear you haven't covered the basics so you obviously haven't read it.
