No, because you can't click on them. They're just images, as you would see if you had actually tried.

Mine got removed and I didn't have any links to mine and got told even the images are breaking the rules

I presume this sticky could be made to be visible in all sections of the forum? e.g. announcement?
That way nobody can claim they didn't see it.

I strongly agree with this suggestion due to me getting popped with an infraction due to unknowingly breaking the rule of signature size. I rarely see the thread index pages since most of threads I read come from the front page's "Recent Posts" box. Had I known the rule beforehand or been able to easily find the rule, I would not have made the mistake.

The rules for the Avatar size are on the page where you set up your Avatar (plus it has a coded rule that won't let you use any size that's not allowed anyway). I won't fight the infraction I got because it's not worth the drama, but the rules for sigs really do need to be more accessible and visible. I really do try to stay within guidelines in regards to issues like these having run and managed forums of my own in the past. But as it stands now, it's far too easy for someone to honestly be able to "claim they didn't see it" such as what happened to myself.

Edit (16th May 2010): Clicktraps/Clickfarms of any kind are not allowed. This includes any sort of "Click and hatch my egg" garbage.

Anyone mind telling me why these are against the rules?
