I don't know but would suggest that both lacerate and swipe gain from ArP so one would never really take over the other regardless of ArP.

More importantly... why wouldn't you use both regardless? On a boss you get lacerate stack up to 5 and then just keep it renewed filling in with swipe anyway. Rotation doesn't change because of ArP imo.

Lacerate is a bleed effect and therefor it already ignores full armor

as for tanking in cat gear (dont that a lot, i always forget to swap)

ui tank all 5 man herrorric in full dps gear (only like 32K hp) but enough armor and dodge to survive ^^

i do like 3-4K dps

@OP Even if it did exceed the amount of threat keeping a 5stack going for 1gcd every like 12 seconds. Here are the things you need to keep in mind.

1: Rend and Tear: 20% maul damage on bleeding targets
2: primal gore: critting lacerate ticks proc SD.

The threat.. and possibly damage (if you were trying to optimize that) from swipe would have to surpass not only a very low costing 5stacked bleed that only needs refreshed every just before the duration ends. You'd have to also surpass the threat/damage from the added 20% to maul.

Very good explanation. Also, the 2 piece bonus will be for tanking trash in ICC and every tank gets a version of it.

DK = 20% increased D&D damage
Pala = 20% increased damage on Hammer of the Righteous
Warrior = 20% increased damage on shield slam & shockwave

This is realy the point, even if swipe>lacerate then the more maul damage is priceless. On top of this lacerate is perfect for threat wipes and if you have a mut rogue but no dps warrior/kitty then they would be kind of sad if you did not keep a bleed up :P
