I suppose being 20 yards away as opposed to 10 while being kited makes no difference to you. Good players know the difference.

i have a frost mage and if you are getting frozen after using strangulate then its most likely that you have broken there frost barrier which is 100% freeze or you have just simply whacked them in the face but ice armor has something like 20% chance to freeze.
, thats completely untrue my frost mage has no problem killing melee its the other caster's (mainly warlock's) that are a pain in the ass, thats my expirences obviously peoples expirences are different so if you think otherwise then please feel free to shout at me.

Again. It's a FROST mage. CoI isn't going to get you any closer to him. Blink will still go it's full distance, he'll still have you perma-slowed, he'll still be able to blink again really soon. He's STILL GONNA BE OUTTA MELEE RANGE. This isn't Sfrost erra. We kinda need the melee range :P

Only an idiot mage will blink if the DK hasn't used deathgrip - hence "use CoI so he doesn't go as far"... the mage will be waiting on the DG to blink. Using blink when DG is not on CD is like saying "I really didn't want to get away from you, please melee me to death now"

Frost Bite

15% chance for chill effects to nova you. This would come from simply attacking a Mage with Ice Armor up, or from Shattered Barrier after consuming their Ice Barrier.

Question, don't PVP much...does the slowing effects from Cone of Cold and Frostbolt count as "chill" effects that could possibly cause nova with the Frost Bite talent?
