I recall seeing one of the build updates posted listed that the CD on titanium transmutes was removed, but I don't see it in the patch notes listed today. Does anyone know if it's still having the CD removed and it's just not listed in the notes?

And transmute spec also comes into play - had enough Saronite bars to transmute into 7 titanium bars, ended up having two x2 procs to get a total of nine bars.
I don't know if blizzard is attempting to make titanium easy to acquire. It might just be a coincidence, but I did 2 rounds around wintergrasp today before a battle. I found 7 titanium nodes, 6 saronite nodes, and 2 rich saronite.
I think they are I saw A titanium vein in HoS today and I have never in all my times running that seen a titanium vein it was nice.

^-----Guess who that is?
Now all they need to do is reduce the cooldown on other transmutes for Transmute Specialists, and it might even be halfway useful!! :P
Note: My Alchemist is Transmute Spec, and I like the fact that sometimes I get more than I have mats for. I just don't like the fact that it's got a ridiculously long cooldown when it's a core profession ability. Do any other professions have long cooldowns like that? Maybe tailoring I guess. No others that I know of and I have characters with all but Engineering at a relatively high level.
JC has a 20 hour gem cooldown.Originally Posted by Soresu
Engineering has numberous cooldowns (MOLL-E, Wormhole generators, Jeeves, etc.).
Tailoring has Cloth cooldowns.
Insc. has Northrend research.
I think thats it, I know Enchant had some long CDs in TBC but they were removed. Maybe Xmute spec can also reduce the cooldown to 12 hours? :-X
Mining has the titansteel cooldown at 20 hours.
Editing for a question:
I'm not familiar with the transmutes, so I have to ask. Is there a way to transmute titanium ores from something? Just got JC to 450 and need some titan ores.

Nope, just saronite bars to titanium bars. Ore still has to be farmed.Originally Posted by Cadilac
It would be nice to see the transmute cooldown for outland primals removed. They did this for tailoring outland specialty cloths. There are still a few crafted items worth making when leveling using primals, but they are a major nuisance to farm and next to none on the AH anymore.
