Rouge almost lvl 80 need some advice/tips

So i'm leveling a rogue and im closing in to lvl 80, i was wondering what kind of specc i would take as iv seen all the assasination and combat specced rouge i desided to not "go with the flow" and rather go subtelty for both pve and pvp, is there anyone that can give me some tips to what i can do or if it is a bad idea or enything

I think there is no subtlety PvE rogues for a reason buddy.

Subtlety's a dead spec for both avenues, even ghostcrawler's admited this, they're most likely not going to bother with it until 4.0.

There way to justify going subt for pvp is if you prey on low resil clothies. Other than that it's pretty useless. For pvp the most popular spec is mutilate/prep. For pve it's combat and assassination. Assass being more powerful for single target tank'n'spanks and combat for everything else really.

27/0/44 is fun as hell for BGs. You definitely won't be doing as much damage as you would be as a mut variant but I like the extra control and mobility of shadowstep. A few players have found success with a shadowdance spec for 3s and 5s in arena but that can be really tough because of the positional requirements and the lack of damage against high armored targets. Standard mut is definitely the best way to start if you're gearing up for PvP unless you wanna get really frustrated 'cause you can't kill anything as sub.

Leveling to 80 speccing sub and trying to do any kind of pve is abit like training swimming all year before the champion ship and then on the day getting a giant hammer and smashing both your knees and feet so you can move them. Then in a daze of pain getting into a full bodysuit made of led and while you are standing waiting to get your chance to compete you are telling your self over and over im going to die while you have 10 cheerleaders laughing and pointing at you.

Then only having 1 point in honor among theifs is doing all of the above but also making sure 10sec before the start having a doctor medialy paralyse you from the neck down.

This maybe sounds quite hars but sub realy is THAT bad. I would NEVER EVER EVER recommed anybody to play it, the cp generating is slow with the changes to hat, the damage is supar and the rotation is just as boring as any other but a whole lot more clunky.

Pvp as a rogue it realy does not matter much wha spec,no matter what a single corruption can kill you untill you get atleast 700-800 resi.
