Gylph of Eternal Watter bug

Blizzard said that it does not work right. I tried this on Test realms. And it does not work if u have Enduring Winter talent. If u don't chose that talent, it work's good. And i did write ticket to Blizzard about that. I guess that they didn't pay to much atention to it. True, i did not tried this on Live servers.

I did not make this topic for discussion. It is more like advice if u want to try Frost as PvE. Just don't put any talent point to Enduring Winter, and it'll be fine.

Replenishment is one of the reasons you'd sacrifice your DPS to go frost.

Plus from personal experience sometimes the pet CAN die and with a reduced cooldown, you can instantly pop him out again. I learned that could be useful because my pet died on the Mage boss in Occ and I had to wait 20 seconds before I could take him out again which was a pretty big hit on my DPS. So its one of those "just in case" talents as well as replenishment.

Frost Mages should be getting Enduring Winter for the replenishment period, not doing so is a waste. And I haven't had any issues with this glyph. MY water pet stays out with no probs.

I have 1/3 enduring winter on my mage and the glyph works fine.

The bug probably refers to the fact that the pet despawns when you zone and it still follows you (on the ground) when you mount up. Hunter, warlock and death knight pets are much better behaved under those circumstances.

Other than that, it seems to be working fine.

BTW, Wowmeteronline doesn't parse water elemental damage anymore, so frost mages will appear maybe 1kdps below their real DPS.
