    Lower level bear tanking

I'm in a 4-man guild group that is progressing through all 5 man content. we just hit the level 70 regular 5 mans, and we have a bit of an issue.

Our group is frost mage (me), disc priest, prot warrior, feral druid. Our tank (the warrior) has fallen behind a bit in level, so our druid has tried tanking. He can't keep aoe aggro at all though; I just rip everything right off of him with a blizzard. Does anyone have any suggestions I can pass along to him? He does fine on bosses and 1 or 2 mobs, but group pulls (which there are a lot of in BC endgame) are a mess.

Here is his armory - http://www.wowarmory.com/character-s...r&n=Curlybrace

    Thanks!

    Re: Lower level bear tanking

It seems that Armory doesn't want to show me his second spec (which I assume is a tank spec) -- does he have the maul glyph? And what's the rotation he's using? The Bear guide lists the proper rotation, and by 70, you'll have all of the same tanking abilities as at 80 (lacerate is the last, at mid 60's); the rotation should be the same.

The best advice for AoE tanking is to have the maul glyph, then tab through the mobs with maul+swipe. If he's having trouble with you AoEing all the mobs at the same time, mark one that he can pay special attention to (mangle when off cooldown, throw a few lacerates, etc) while tab/maul/swiping all the time.

Small gear thing -- a DPS trinket would likely help more in that situation than the ZHB, if he's got one.

Yes, he does have the maul glyph. Thanks for the tips, I'll pass a link to that guide along to him.
