Sell stuff.
It's that complicated my friend.
Oh and stop buying things you don't really need.
Go farm stuff and sellOriginally Posted by sirolafur
With those professions you should hardly have to buy anything ever. Unless you're wiping every 45 sec and spending 1000g a day repairing then i don't see how you could be broke. Stop buying crap in the AH and start using it to make money.
Can you guys gimme any tips?
Go mine > you get ore, crystallize earth/shadow and common-rare gemsOriginally Posted by sirolafur
You can prospect the ore for more gems or auction it on te AH.
as for the gems, either put them on AH or make rings with them and DE them and auction them.
Okay cool man, but where should I mine at?Originally Posted by Aswed
a really wild guess from a non miner would be...hhmmm...northrend
If you aren't making gold with maxed JC hate to sound like a prick but something is wrong with you.
Here is how i make some decent gold (I have 2 toons with maxed JC so everything im posting is x2)
* 1 icy prism / day = random blue gems + occasional epic or dragon's eye
* Do the JC daily for the jc token and if you have nightmare tear cut buy dragon's eye with the token and make nightmare tears, if you dont have that cut i highly suggest you get it.
Also, with new random dungeon system if you dont need any gear at all from emblems, you can farm heroics to get +2 extra emblems per run and buy epic gems and sell either cut or raw.
Hope this helps.

1. Have a look over at wow popular to see what gems are hot.
2. Look in the AH to see how much competition there is for that cut.
3. Get that gem cut if its relatively popular with low to medium competition.
4. ???
5. Profit
You're sitting on a gold mine and you'll never have to farm again with these two professions.Originally Posted by sirolafur

There's no way that this isn't a troll. Still, I'll bite.Originally Posted by sirolafur
Enchanting - farm vanilla and BC instances, and disenchant greens/blues. Sell dust/essence/shards.
Mining #1 - go to EK or Kalimdor and farm low-level ore (anything above copper sells). Smelt and sell.
Mining #2 - go to Scholazar and farm saronite.
JC #1 - prospect aforementioned saronite and sell gems.
JC #2 - do the daily. Buy epic JC recipes from the vendor and cut in-demand gems.
Inscription - scan the AH for glyphs that will actually generate profit. Produce and sell.
Go to the forums, here and on Wowhead, and look at the guides.
Oh, and accept the fact that making money from professions takes time and initiative. Without these attributes, you won't succeed.
Remember this, kids, it is very important. Even if your mommy makes you a super hero costume, do not attempt to do any of these things, especially flying. Because you cannot do it. You do not have super powers. Because there is only one Super Grover. And that is me.
You know at first I thought this was real but I got to thinking and there is no way this is real LOLOriginally Posted by sirolafur
Sometimes when I go fishing, I troll too.
With maxed JC & Enchanting 400, you dear sir should always mine the AH. Drop mining and take Alchemy in fact, cause running around to grind ores is a waste of time compared to what you can make if you spend that time using your prospecting skill, enchanting scrolls, listing and relisting glyphs and using your transmute cooldown every day, if you decide to listen to me.Originally Posted by sirolafur

Ah dam, fooled by a Troll.
probably a troll but hey, if he isnt, he needs SERIOUS help so....
I have 450 mining and jc, 450 tailoring and 460 enchanting
mine in sholazar and prospect/sell bars, do your jc daily and buy dragon's eyes to sell, make rings and boots from jc and tailoring and d/e them, make scrolls, advertise hard to get enchants and higher end bags (these work the best for me), and aquire any cuts of gem you see people requesting a lot
