<The Bulge> is a reformed guild and working towards filling a roster of 28+ players. Raiding isn’t fun or even worthwhile unless it is efficient and effective. We set out to do as much as possible in as little time as possible. Raiding isn’t social time - it’s focus time. Our style of play isn’t for everybody but if you think you have the determination, dedication and intelligence to play at a very high level, The Bulge may the place for you.
We are working towards building a small, tight-knit roster. The goal is to progress at a top level while raiding only 12 hours a week. Currently we only raid two days a week, Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00pm to 10:00pm PST. TotC is cleared and the remainder of the time is spent in ICC. The soul focus will then be to clear ICC and spend the rest of the time in TotGC. A third day will then be added to the raid schedule and Icecrown progression will take first priority once more content is released.
Building a roster that meets our expectations will take time and if you want a realm first Icecrown clear this guild isn’t for you. We need players at the top of their game that realize achieving our ultimate goal is a process. Patience is required.
We use EPGP loot system with loot tiers based on rank. The Raider rank has default priority over all lower ranks. The requirements for obtaining and maintaining this rank are very strict.
Using Ventrilo, attending raids, enchanting gear, researching encounters, flasking, etc. are all self-explanatory. We are recruiting raiders and if you have to be told that doing these things is a part of raiding, then this guild is not for you. Applicants are expected to be familiar with efficient and effective raiding. Competent raiders who expect the very best of themselves and their teammates are highly encouraged to apply.
