Not another 63SP or Blackmagic thread!?

Hey there!

I was just scrolling thru general forums and suddenly I saw this

Well i am wondering if you swap weapons after black magic procs with 63 sp, that would be a dps increase? Black magic got 35 sec cd and 10 sec duration if you swap it immediately after proc with 63 weapon and then swap at 33 secs( for example) to get a new proc and then do it again and again. You gonna loose 2 gcds but i cant calculate atm accuratelly how it will affect your totally dps . Gief some help with theorycraft and etc .. Ty

As I saw, there are allready some elemental shaman trying and testing blackmagic enchant but this idea brings it to a hole new level!

Can anyone out there test this? Interesting facts could be:
Internal cooldown of Black Magic.
Internal cooldown of Black Magic after equipping no weapon or a other weapon.
Proc chance?
Worth the loss of the 2 gcds?

why would want to lose 3 seconds of DPS to get 7.5% haste for 10 seconds

If you would've bothered to read the rest of the thread, it was verified that the cooldown on Black Magic resets when you equip it. IE: when you equip a trinket, the 30/45 second cooldown begins.

It's a waste of time. Don't bother with it.

Uhm not to be a prick - but it was actually the 2nd post in the thread that explained that it wasn't doable krstn

When you swap a weapon with a CD enchant on it (black magic, mongoose...), the CD is reset. So no, it's not a DPS increase.
