*Warning QQ Thread*

First of all I dont have a problem with the stats Mongoose gives. My problems is the mats needed for this enchant. Now if this was an old enchant that wasnt the BEST bear enchant in the game I wouldnt have a problem at all. but it is the BEST enchant for bears in the game. And the mats for this enchant are getting more and more rare everyday because people dont run the old content anymore.I wish Blizzard would update the mats needed for this enchant, or give us poor bears a new weapon enchant. /end QQ Your thoughts?

(both on average, of course)

So while I do find the mats are a pain to find, the price is still reasonable. At least on my server.

Just an example:

Last night I was looking on AH and there was only 1 Mongoose scroll and it was about 800g

I tried buying the mats and only could find about 1/2 of them on AH. Maybe it is just my server, but the mats WILL become more rare as time goes on thou.


I am not saying that I wouldnt pay 800g for an enchant, but I am just saying that it is going to start getting crazy expensive as time goes on that is all.

If you're 80 you can solo those old dungeons with ease. You don't even need to run them on heroic. Shadow Labs, Shattered Halls will net an amazing amount of greens which you can have
a friendly guildmate DE for you. Empty your bags and you'll come out with a couple hundred gold from greys and bop drops. Vendor the greens and buy the mats off the AH instead. Run them on heroic for even more gain.

If you don't have your bird mount, take advantage of Heroic Sekketh Halls and solo that daily.

About every couple months I go solo farm enough mats to make 3-4 mongoose scrolls. My wife sells 3, I keep one. Weapons drop when the next wing opens in ICC so start farming
those mats now. :P

Sure they do, but that doesn't mean they know what they're doing. Atm best warrior/paladin enchant is Blade Ward. It's up time is ~25% (Mongoose is ~45%) but it easily stacks to 4-5 so it's win.

If you have mats problem then you must log on only for raids... get few stacks of netherweave cloth, make gear of it (or ask someone to do it for you) and de it, quick mats. You can also solo kara bosses for easy shards. If you don't have char with enchanting or you're to lazy to do that... well, stop complaining.

I'm sure there will be an updated mongoose in Cataclysm, because more classes are going to like agility as their main stat(as opposed that most dps classes prefer attack power over agility.)

I'm guessing there will be an updated crusader as well, in order to have a strangth based enchant as well for tanks and plate dps.

I two boxed leveled my rogue from 60 to 70 just running instances with my 80 feral, I could make 750+ gold a day (and ~2 levels on the rogue) running regular Sethekk Halls... amazing cash to be had! Lots of greens.

It actually didn't or does still not proc of these weapons
