    I'm pretty sure it does. I'm rushing a friend through low level dungeons on my paladin. I never die but after a while I need to repair my gear.

    He had 1 Heirloom on, So thats 10% each kill.
    He has 32k kills and only 18k killing blows.
    He, In fact looted the Shoveltusk, He didn't show him playing the whole time, I guarantee he went on looting but never actually showed it to show Epeen.

    (My guesses) He probably attacked something, Got it down to low HP and had his friend come in.
    He probably did, In fact loot the corpses.

    Hes also a Mage, If it was a melee class (As stated before) It would be impressive.

    Overall, I give him a 2/10

    You are tanking the mobs... he isint becouse he is a mage. You are using probaly epic plate gear and that has a expensive repair coast.

    Was it a PVE server he was on, or just a dead PvP one?

    This is a "wonderful" story? Anyone could do this who has too much time on their hands, why would you waste so much time levelling a character skipping the thousands of gold and tens of thousands of reputation, quest rewards, etc. There's nothing impressive about grinding on a carebear server for four months.

    So you are still trying to convince us that you "by accident" only looted "a few" mobs along the way.

    Wow -- after all this, you still try to lie people up in their faces. Why not just admit that you looted all along the levels?

    The proof? Well you gave it yourself at page 11 post #153. You link this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qqXfKuV1qfQ
    At 1:37 you loot 2 items. But unfortunately you have milk scorlling combat text (or other similar addon) that shows us that you actually have looted 238 of the items you loot there.

    That my good man - tells us that during those few levels in Zangarmarsh have looted shitloads of mobs.
    Its _very_ hard to believe you have not done that along the way as well.

    And no i dont give a damn about you meaning "not looting gold" - because that is some BS you just made up after people discovered you doing it in the actual movie.
    Because in one of your first replies you half hearted try to come with the excuse:
    • "I may have shift clicked by mistake because I was tired once or twice but please enough with the conspiracies seriously. I ll be sure to start over because I may have looted once or twice in 32000 mobs lolz"

    Lying makes it so much worse .. if you had just removed the stupid "no loot" rule in the beginning - you would have looked much better now.

    /agree

    This no loot rule is a complete no sense:
    1- He could loot items and leave the gold and no one can verify that;
    2- what is the point of no loot if his main handled all his gold?;
    3- No loot = no loot at all, so he broke his own rule and it isint perfect and no one care if it was 100 or 32k mobs.

    The initial gear is another no sense rule:
    1- herbloom shoulders? lol;
    2- scanning AH for gear? what about the no loot rule? what is the point again?

    OP is trying to make it look harder than it was becouse not dieng at a pve server is easy, the only chance to die is getting a hard lag spike or DC while you have 2 or 3 mobs on you (something you should avoid if you doing this kinda of personal achievement).

    I just spent a week in a hospital after major surgery so let me just say this to all of those people who can only nitpick, rabble or critic.

    I don t give a flying fuck about what you think Deathcold (and other trolls). If you must keep on criticizing even after this is over and I clearly did a mea culpa then just go fark yourself and see if I care

    The youtube video description was changed a long time ago to say: No more than 1G looted. But even if that had been on the original email or video, most of you tards would still have found things to complaint about. If it was THAT easy to not die on a pve server, why the fark don't you try to do it then and show us how eaaaaasy it is? Until then if you still need to complain instead of enjoying the fun you then can go fark yourself.

    Happy new year, see you in a month or two.

    Whether Neverdied lied about this "feat" is irrelevant. What I am about to say isn't directly about him, but rather sites like MMO champion and the community surrounding them. I see a post like this and think that it's no different to CNN or any other major media channel scrounging for news because there's nothing interesting. Every achievement earned was much more praiseworthy.

    People are completely free to do what they want. There's a guy on youtube that spends his time trapping himself in giant balloons and uploading vids of him doing it. I just find it odd and even worrying when websites praise and, perhaps indirectly, encourage people to pursue what I believe are equally odd and unconstructive hobbies, like spending 4 months completing a feat that, when you think about it, isn't really that impressive. If the users reading this post chose to, I'm confident that most of them too, would have no problem grinding mobs to 80 on a pve server using the class with the most defense mechanisms. I'm surprised Neverdied took more than two tries (if he really did). Not saying this because I don't like to see people succeed, but this dude had to be waaaay bored with his life or lack thereof.

    Don't get me wrong though, I think wow is the most amazing game in the world. Raiding teaches you cooperation and PvP advocates tactical and opportunistic thinking; it can be argued that blizzard believes that these are the two main points of the game and what people derive the most fun out of. That's just me though. Everybody has their definition of fun. I wonder what would happen if blizz gave a stat tracker for mob kills. Next up: first player to kill 1,000,000 boars in durotar. People applaud. Curtains roll. New mom's-basement dweller steps up to conquer something dumber.

    Maybe I'm a hypocrite; i just spent 15 minutes typing this. I guess it's because I used to be invested in the game and found that while it gave me many awesome memories, I realized that there's a lot better things to do off the computer. Please, nobody kill a million boars. I don't want to hear about it from friends who still play wow.

    Dude, I fought naked as a Warrior and made it to level 22 doing that. All you need to not die is smarts, potions, and kickass fighting styles.

    You guys are pretty sad.

    I think most of the flames here stem from jealousy that this person actually got onto the mmo front page.

    Nothing in WoW takes "skill". Whether it is healing, damaging, or tanking, its hardly an achievement that your guild can down the same 4 raid bosses every week. Its just going through the motions and having clear communication.

    If you don't think this is an achievement, fine - that is your right and your opinion, but why would you come into a thread set up to congratulate the person and try to bring them down?

    That is one of the reasons I just don't post here anymore. Too much dick measuring and elitism over a video game. When you really step back and take a look at it all, it is really rather pathetic how defensive and angry some people get over who is better at a video game.

    Not dying to mobs isn't as easy as it sounds - sometimes you get into situations where you pull more than you can handle - and mages don't have ice block or invisibility for a good while, so if you pull one mob too many and haven't got mana to deal with it, and by chance get dazed to boot, there goes your streak - it's very easy to make a fatal mistake.

    I don't think anybody really likes dying while questing, and that we all try our best on a casual level to not die at all, yet if we were to check our statistics, I'm sure we'd see a 3-digit death count on a typical level 80 character's statistics sheet from PvE causes alone.

    I think that aspect of leveling alone is more challenging than most people would dare admit. I think, considering the amount of planning, focus, dedication and expertise invested in this task, that it's quite the feat, regardless of why he chose to do it.
