I honestly don't want Kara to be "brought back" or "remade" or "retuned" or "given a heroic mode", you get the idea.
For those who have never seen it I recommend you just go there and clear it. The content is there for those who want to experience Kara, sure it's not the same experience at 80, but Blizzard should invest resources in making new raids instead of just recycling old stuff.
They should have never remade Naxx either, at least not in this way, the time they spent retuning it could have been used for actually making a new raid. When and if they run out of storyline/lorelol, I could see recycling raids being an option to keep the game alive, but right now there's just no excuse.
I blame the community for being so spoiled, complaining all the time that only 1% saw SWP/60Naxx, let's review the facts:
1. If you wanted to raid SWP but didn't have time/skill/gear/experience to get into a guild, all you had to do was wait one major patch, from TBC 2.4 to WoTLK 3.0, because guess what SWP is now puggable. So if you've never "saw" SWP it's your own fault. They don't need to remake this either because it's more accessible than ever.
2. Same as above, if you wanted to raid 60Naxx, you had your chance at level 70.
Tell me honestly what do you prefer:
a. a level 60 Naxx and a new level 80 raid instance
b. a level 80 Naxx and nothing else
In case a. you could still "experience" Naxx if you wanted to by getting 10 level 80s and you would also get to play a brand new level 80 instance that nobody ever saw. In case b. you just get a recycled old instance you probably did at 70 anyway like I did. I never played pre-TBC but 60Naxx was nothing new for me in WoTLK.

I'm going to have to agree. Naxxramas is a fun instance, but I think the player base and the game in general would have benefited much more from anew raid. Really, they coulf have even made it a different Necropolis with the same two end-bosses, Sapphiron and Kel'Thuzad (athough new tactics would've been wanted).
The only reason that I'm not as angry as most people about the recycled Naxxramas instance was that it did fit nearly perfectly into the theme.
Imo, 80Naxx doesn't fit well at all because its story's just lorelol. The "story" is basically that somehow, after the heroes invaded and destroyed the scourge in 60Naxx, Kel'thuzad's philactery fell in the "wrong hands" so he was resurrected (again, as if being resurrected in the Sunwell in Warcraft III wasn't enough) and then he moved Naxx from Plaguelands to Northrend. Somehow, all the other villains in Naxx (except the horseman Mograine) were resurrected as well.
Yup, perfect lorelol. Blizzard really needs to learn to keep dead villains dead and stop making stupid retcons and implausible scenarios. Keal'thas, Kel'thuzad, Anub'arak, the vampire elves that will reappear in ICC, all the other Naxx bosses too numerous to list, all of them should have stayed dead.
Or at least if you're going to remake a dungeon/boss don't give a cheesy cliche storyline, "oh the last fight with me was merely a setback MWHAHAHAHA" lame, just admit you're remaking the instance purely for game mechanics, for example this was the case with Onyxia, Onyxia was never resurrected in the storyline, they just retuned the instance for level 80s, nothing more. I didn't mind the remake of Onyxia that much, it was mostly a side-instance anyway, not a tier instance like Naxx and ToC.
I think its funny that the OP is constantly posting, either saying "I like Kara" or "You'll like it!"
Yes, It was something that was mildly fun, but no one wants to do it again. Tell me where it can fit in with the story line, and i'll agree.
while i do sorta miss it, i rean that place into the ground and i'd rather not be forced to raid it again.
Pondering returning.

Oh really? Kara was patched in a few months after TBC went live so you and "your guild" couldn't have been there that quick. Nice try though.Originally Posted by Spirion

I loved Karazhan when I raided it with my guild two years ago, I almost never got any useful drops but I still loved it. The atmosphere, the bosses and the fun chess event. It was a cool place and I hope Blizzard make another raid instance that might be as cool and interesting instead of recycling the old one.
ya imo if they wanted to return Naxx they should have remade it like instance is demolished from lvl 60 times when we go in we get some new some old bosses mainly we see instance in ruins like old bosses but bit remade like thaddius like he been reincarnated since lvl 60 destruction but bit remade like hes missing 1 arm, but got some kind of weapon on other or so.. And at end like we fight KT but not like now hes talking to Lich king but at begining of event we see he is remade and we finish him once more for good. Mainly same instance but afterall remade to fit in lore...

Kara was the source of T4, which was available from the word 'Go'. So how do you figure Kara was patched in AFTER TBC, when it was the main source of T4 (aside from Gruul and Magtheridon)
Someone obviously wasn't around in early tbc.... lol noobs gotta love emOriginally Posted by nosebleed

Karazhan was amazing. Yes, it got boring after running it multiple times every week on different toons, for the entire life cycle of Burning Crusade, but that doesn't change that it was an amazing instance.
Do I want it brought back? No, they'd probably ruin it. But, as someone else said, I would like an instance as well designed as Karazhan.
I have no memory of Karazhan being shipped with the release of TBC but patched in after it went live.Originally Posted by Zarad
IDK about Karazhan heroic, but I think that the crypt might be opened up and there might be something happening down there, once cata is released.

The Battle for Mount Hyjal was there at release as well, it was however impossible to gain access as a full raid prior to patch 2.1 since the vial drops were limited.Originally Posted by bak00777

*but*
I'm leery of them messing with old content. I don't even like them replacing the lowbie version of Deadmines with an 80 level version. I suspect it will be fun for like the first month or so and then people will get quickly bored of it.
Culling of Stratholme was fun the few times...now it's kind of long/tedious with that chatter at the beginning.
