What is your favourite raid?

So, what is/was(pre-faceroll) your favourite raid, and why?

I have to say the "favourite instance" topic inspired me to make this poll.

I voted Mount Hyjal myself because I loved the way the npc's were involved, and I had the best time with my guild there

Karazhan for the looks, atmosphere and fun fights (at least until you cleared it for 1000th time).

Kara, easy...guild did it for fun every week, has hunters tankin prince and prot pallys healing the whole thing in thier tank gear(givin it was SP at the time -_-) but never the less it was and still is the best freaking instance there is

Icecrown Citadel, its quite a bunch of fun and its challenging enought.
TBC it was definetly Karazhan.

Naxxramas vanilla ofc, because it was the most fucking challenging instance this game ever had and ever will have. I pity those who never had the chance to visit this instance when it came out, cuz they never felt how its like to make progress on the fucking four horsemen for like three fucking months and then make the firstkill, the joy, oh i am jizzing my pants right now.

Of Wrath of the Lich King, my favorite raids are, in order, Icecrown Citadel, Ulduar (very close behind ICC), and then Eye of Eternity (new and interesting fight mechanics at the time).

For Burning Crusade, my favorites were Karazhan, Black Temple, and Sunwell Plateau.

I wasn't around before BC so I wasn't able to experience the original raids in their full glory, but the ones I like to go back to the most are Ahn'Qiraj (40), Molten Core, and Blackwing Lair.

I really like ulduar, not because it's the greatest instance in the game, but simple because I personally had the most fun there. I started playing when Wotlk came out, so I never got the chance to SWP or BT. And naxx wasnt all that exciting for me, for no good reason really =P But our whole guild was excited about Uld coming out, and I got to experience that...

Clearing up to and including razorscale in our 10man group, then being stuck on the robot kid forever because we alt went Oom on the tantrum thing =P we had 2 balance druids (me being one) and we we're supposed to help healing with tranq =P bye bye mana

That was super fun. not to mention when our 10men first killed hodir HM, always nice to see yourself doing 50% of the dps!

Molten Core purely because when I was 12 (lolz) I facerolled my bros lock and got him some item off rag..Also got him warlord, Something like 2k hks from high warlord.


In wotlk Ulduar. I just love the opening of Algalon and his voice, and Rhonin's speech in Dal was the most inspiring thing I have heard.

Ive been playing since Tbc.
But i my favorite raid will be icecrown citadel
i know it isnt even fully released yet but still it has THAT vibe
The bosses look great, the fights are fun
after that comes Karazhan and Sunwell

basically i do not like a shitload of trash. malygos was 100% fail though. most hated instance / boss ever

Used to love Hyjal despite all the trash, it's very cool and reminds me about wc3. Karazhan was just horrible, not because of the fights, because it was too damn easy and I got tired of clearing it for the 2942358432th time. I'm not going back there!

Voted Molten Core..i bet i didnt like it so much back then but the more time goes by, the more awesome Ragnaros feels. And the first time he rose up, nothing has come even close to him.

I have to say I'm surprised to see karazhan got more votes than Sunwell Plateau or Black Temple for example.
I guess the main reason is that most people haven't been there when it mattered. :P

Been thinking about it for a long time tbh.

Sunwell > Ulduar > ICC

Tho this might change with more bosses in ICC, because I love the layout of the place. And the bosses have been fun too (<3 Gunship)

SSC can rot in hell.
As can BT. Spent FAR to long in those places to enjoy them anymore.
