Q: Mithril vs Dragonscale

What is the harder material of mithril and dragonscale?

Facts are well met, but if you have a theory and care to elaborate it that is just as fine.

Dragonscale is acctually two words combined, thats cheating.

Yes but since no living beings that we know of are able to produce anything harder than the hardest metals we know of (mithril has to belong to the hardest metals in my opinion) I interpret your post as mithril being the harder one?

Black Dragonscale Boots has less armor than Ornate Mithril Boots so with my logic, Mithril is harder ;D

Been there, done that. Even tried looking up some scientific articles on the subject, but couldnt find any reliable sources.

Depends on whether you plan on dealing damage or taking it. Mithril is "stronger" but will cut mobility. Dragonscale will provide significantly less defense but the higher mobility means faster, more accurate blows.

In my understanding mithril is as light as a feather, dont know about the density of dragonscales but I bet its not lighter than a feather

Yes, because both Dragonscales and Mithril exists.

It would depend on the dragon and what fable your going from. One ledgend will say dragonscales are harder than the toughest metal you've ever seen whereas others will just say dragonscales are just like snake scales. Mithril is the same.

But on WoW terms and game mechanics: My theory:
Dragonscale would be tougher because the dragons in WoW are born from titan-gifted Aspects whereas mithril is just the 4th 'common ore' azeroth denizens can obtain.

In my opinion I would go with the Dragonscale just because it has buildin resistance to Fire, whereas the Mithril is just for Physical attacks.

I doubt Mithril owns Deathwing's fatass bigbadass scale.

But in reality Id say Mithril is stronger
