What next? Advice please

I was wondering how I can improve outside of raid drops (not much time to raid) or what I should be changing to maximise my PvE DPS?

There's only so much gear you can get outside of raids. Farming emblems and getting as much gear from there and the ICC5 heroics is really all you can do if you're not raiding at all.

oh and drop a ton of expertise.

Is there anything specific I should be getting armour/weapon wise? Should I be staying with the 2 set piece bonus from both sets or go all Van Cleef?
Really need a tricket or 2 - what is a good option for this?

Try and get as much ArP gear as you can, ignore the set bonuses until t10 2-set. Badge helm, crafted chest and bracers are all good choices. ArP trinket from FoS is quite alright. So is the Herkuml war-token from frost emblems, and I suppose you can't go wrong with Mark of Supremacy either from Triumph emblems.
