-get the abyss rune from toc nh
-enchant your chest with +10 to all stats
-change both orange gems to haste/spellpower
-get the t9 gloves asap to close the gap to the hitcap
-try to remove some crit for haste in the near future

Haste is very low, mabey swap ony ring out for the 245 haste badge ring.

Get the crafted Bejewled Wizards Bracers to replace your current mp5 ones.

Need the crit/crit% meta for your helm.

You have some +20crit and +20 int gems in your gear, these shoulld be swapped for +23sp. A 12sp/10haste for your chest, helm, shoulder staff and cloak..

Blue gem in your belt should be +23sp

Mabey change 2 points in imp VE to 2 points in Veiled Shadows, For me I use Shadowfeind as a DPS cooldown :P

Neat gear, and a sick amount of haste. Lucky drops as well (Neck, Wand, Nevermelting Ice Crystal trinket). Expected gear level for a guild who does hardmodes anyways, so less wouldn't do well (Even I'm surprised they didn't bench you as most guilds did with their spriests).

I disagree with the choice of weapon though. And I can't believe you bothered with getting the legs made with the current price level of Saronite. The content isn't that hard it actually calls for such expensive upgrades.

Like you already noted, the "toy" staff might be better off as a MH/OH combo or staff with only DPS stats (personally I hope Blizzard makes those proc's competitive!). Might want to replace crit/Mp5 cloak, and should consider using 12SP/10SPI gems in your blue sockets on your boots and bracers.


My armory is here. Main gear slots to upgrade are obviously the neck and cloak. Second trinket is a bit weak also, but at least it's better than the Sundial of the Exiled (which I still had to use until this past Tuesday due to our guild having possibly the worst trinket luck in the world).

Nice gear! in fact the Tier 10 head is what I'm getting next (95 badges >.<) Trinkets are a bit out of date, but still awesome, and you need to give me your wand!

And since someone is gonna say something about the weapon, I have Maghari chieftan's staff, illumination (245) and barb of tarasque (258). I've played with them all, and honestly, nibelung generally wins out for me. That isn't to say I don't switch it out for fights where the poor little valks die straight off.

@Johnpnp - Chest needs +15 Spirit. It's cheap and better than +8 and +10 All Stats. You can also use a Reckless Ametrine in your gloves... It would be 27 PP as apposed to the 23 PP you currently have. Your Ashen Band needs it's enchant back You're missing 3 points of hit rating... but I don't think .1% miss rating will really factor in a noticeble DPS loss.

@ above, you've done well with the gear you have. You've got close to if not the best possible enchants and gemming you can, i would recommend changing your boot enchant to Tuskarr's vitality and getting new non-spirit boots and neck; otherwise well done. 8/10

Are you using +63SP on main hand due to preference? Initially I thought it was for flexibility (going disc in raids) but I just realized it's a hit weapon.

Main reason is that while Black Magic is slightly better i would rather have a constant 63 spellpower rather than a proc if you know what i mean. It could proc at random times just like tailoring for example as you have to move for example. I'm actualy waiting for another mainhand from TOGC to put black magic on so i can weapon swap, but until then ill use what i've got

I don't use the rep ring atm, seeing I'm only at revered and I cannot use the extra hit atm, will hopefully get a new neck soon so I can swap the ring in. Other than that I use the 63sp on mainhand instead of the Black Magic due to 2 reasons; I dont like random procs that affect my casting rate and I do tend to heal as well and use my mace for that gear lineup too.

I gemmed the pants before patch 3.3 hit. I never bothered to change it after because it is only a couple points of PP that is lost. Maybe I will change it now since I'm bleeding Triumph badges (kudos to the new random dungeon system). I'm starting to regret taking a break from WoW, everyone and their mothers have their 2pc already!

Your gear is good and is beyond what you need for any gear check encounters. Your enchants and gems follow ShadowPriest.com's theorycrafting to the teeth (minus the MH enchant). You're also a troll (mini lust!). +1 for being able to stand being a troll.

Luv your dual Reign trinkets. Haste and Crit % rating are high as well. I prolly would change Glyph of Shadow Word:Pain with either Glyph of Mind Sear or even Glyph of Dispersion

Here's mine. I have too much hit but am waiting for few upgrades. I don't like my spell power, I think it's too low. And have not changed all of my yellow gems for orange spell/haste one -- waiting for upgrades. Gotta say though the 2-pc tier 10 bonus does give a noticable dps upgrade.

Try loosing some hit and work a bit on your haste&crit.

jealous of ur trinkets btw, we only had 1 reign drop until now same for muradin's spyglass :/
