THE dumbest reason to be G-Kicked ever

I was removed from my guild in TBC because of probably the stupidest reason ever.

While running HMgT, we had a guild run going with a new rogue recruit. The rogue pickpocketed a lockbox and got a Spinesever from the box. I told him that boe epics in guild are always randomed off between everyone in guild runs. He claimed he pickpocketed it so it was his. I said this wouldn't bode well for him if he was selfish. The next day in Hyjal, an offhand sword dropped...which other rogues had so he wanted it. I MLed it to a hunter (veteran status) instead to show the rogue that he needs to be more of a team player. He complained, made some realm forum drama which caused a rift between the guild. I didnt get kicked per se, but felt I was forced to leave because it pissed off quite a few non veteran members. Felt like a guild I helped build was overtaken by tards.

i'm siding with the rogue too. pickpocket loot are rogue only for a reason, that thing's a freaking 1 in 1 million drop rate, and is tuned for rogues (what did you want him to do, pass it to the huntard in back?). locked chests i suppose can be shared, but not pickpocket loot.

if you want him to hand over the spinesever, then people should also have to give away their daily alchemy gems if they cast it during the instance, and other rewards that aren't linked to the instance. (it's not higher drop rate because he happened to find it in the instance, it's his.)

As an officer in a raiding guild on Dragonblight, I was kicked by the GM for calling another officer and informing her that she was g-kicked. I saw that she was kicked, so I called, and she wanted to know why. So I said in guild chat "She wants to know why she was kicked." I was then laughed at and kicked myself. Shortly after (within days) the guild fell apart.

I have been kicked from two guilds.

One was arguing over possible future expansions. As nothing at the time was posted on MMO Champion, I did not want to say with any certainty what would be in Catacylsm. The GL didn't like that, and kicked me. Funnily enough, I am good friends with his daughter (she also plays), and she said something like, "Yeah - he can work himself up into a fury. Sorry about that."

The second time was when a guild member was calling things gay "Oh, locks r so gay" ... I asked, "Why do people use the word 'gay' as an insult?" Ultimately, I was kicked because I asked them not to use that word as an insult.

So, today i got kicked from my raiding guild this afternoon. All i did was charging only 10g per epic cut. One of the offices, who happens to be the worst player i have ever seen in my life, kicked from the guild because "i was cutting into his profit".

(he replaced it with http://www.wowhead.com/?item=50793). The office does about 2 million ineffective healing per fight and he does about 95% over healing with only 50k effective healing per fight. Don't bring up the whole "but he is disc and disc does low numbers" argument he does about 500 HPS ON HEROIC TWINS. This guy also dies in EVERY thing that you can possibly die on. This week he messed up one of our professor putress attempts because he stood their while the add that you are supposed to kite killed him and this wiped the raid. He blamed it on the DPS for not switching off the boss to kill it in about 2-3 seconds. /rage off

Got gkicked for a short period of time on the leveling from 70-80, as the gm who plays wow 16+ hours a day, decided i was talking too much in guild chat between flight points and said i wasn't focusing on leveling.
He also ignored me so i couldn't get a reinvite.

Anyway, opinion time. The dude may suck, but general policy is "Guildies do favors for each other (someone enchants your healing pants, you socket his tier 10 shoulders); no charge". If you want to make a profit, gouge the saps on your server willing to pay 100g for a gem.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but you were one of the tards. That item would not have dropped if the rogue hadn't been there. The item would never have even come into existence. If he had waited to open the box you never even would have known he got it. Hell, you still couldn't even prove he DID get it from there. Maybe he had a bunch of boxes from previous heroics and was just clearing inventory space.

You're basically saying "omg I saw you loot it so I have a right to it." Nope, doesn't work that way. If you'd been in the right, you probably wouldn't have had to bail on the guild. That guild is better off without you. YOU are the selfish one, not the rogue.
