bad lag in raids

just a quick question. i've been raiding for a while. i don't have an amazing gaming computer, just a normal everyday computer that i also use for other things. lately i've been getting really bad lag while raiding ICC and i was wondering if anyone could help me fix that.

When the fight first starts, it's so bad that my cast bars, go from empty, to all the way full in one jump, which makes it very hard to time when to start casting my next spell (i'm a shadow priest.)

if anyone has any solutions besides "get a new computer", they would be greatly appreciated.

do you have a latency problem (high ping) or a frame rate problem ?

it would be nice if you could post some of your system specifications (what computer do you have)
and your addon usage.

i had lag before in outdoor raid so i turned of multi color sampleing nd made it x1 instead of x4 it helpd me ALOT
