No you don't. DW Frost tanking is perfectly viable for high end raiding.

Rune Tap is absolutely unnecessary for raiding. even 20% talented is still not very much considering the numbers healers put out. Same with overkill. No point, unless you don't have a healer for that tank. (a joke, it wouldn't even work then)

no one uses spell deflection, as most DKs aren't ranged tanks :P

And yeah, don't even try dual wielding without being mainly frost for ToT.

Blood is very viable for high end raiding, as is frost, but they work very differently, and trying to mix-and-match them will end with a dead raid and an angry guild. Sry.

I don't think it will work. Your Death Strikes and Heart Strikes both do weapon damage +X% which with dual wielding will mean they hit with your main hand attack. That is going to gimp the damage done by both and with it gimp the threat generation too. With no Might of Mograine and only 2/5 Bladed armor you will find it very hard to generate good threat with that spec.

From a tanking perspective the only thing your spec gains from going deeper into frost is Lichborne which just isn't that valuable for tanking. It is slightly useful on Onyxia and maybe a couple other bosses, Auriaya is the only one that springs to mind but neither of those can really be regarded as endgame bosses anymore.

If you wanted a very specific high survivability build and threat wasn't an issue something like:

Would do better. You get 3% improved stamina from Veteran of the Third War, all the extra mitigation and avoidance from the frost tree along with the potential benefit of using one or two tanking one handers. The downside of course being that your threat could well be pretty poor and your AoE abilities is back to DnD and Blood Boil which isn't fantastic for Frost. The only plus being that with truckloads of death runes you could spam Blood Boil a lot which may or may not work.

With enough misdirects it would probably work, a DK equivalent of the warrior 5/15/51 spec, focussed on maximum survivability at a hefty cost to threat generation

No, you don't. And as others pointed out, there's many other mistakes in your spec, not only the fact that you try to DW as Blood.

Please do more research and thinking before you show your ideas to the forums, otherwise you'll look very stupid.

Why the fuck take 3/5 icy talons? It doesn't stack with windfury. 2/5 bladed armor? no subversion? no might of mograine. You certainly need improved unholy command with this spec, you actually need all taunting skills if you got good dps on 1 sec time

If you want to dual wield, go Frost. Frost is the dual wield tree. The other 2 trees are strictly 2H or you will suck. That's all there is to it.
