THe worgen racial to be able to turn into a human......
No use whatsoever, at all.

That and the worgen racial to be able to skin things without a knife....wooo hooo, I sure needed that extra bag space, heavens know if I had picked blacksmithing and had to fill up 2! spaces with a hammer and pick.

FYI you only need a Mining Pick when you're a miner.

what do you think which race has the worst racials in the game?

in my opinion its "Will of the Forsaken". Once it was the most powerful ability (old wow) with a
20 seconds immunity, but now as it also shares a 45s cooldown with the insignia its nearly worthless.
You can't pass on the insignia like the humans can as wotf does not remove movement impairing effects and stuns. And as the shared cooldown is nearly the same as the cooldown of insignia alone wotf is really worthless..
and cannibalize does not compensate for this.

You sir, are retarded. Not about the WOTF part, about the tauren part (speaking as a tank). The stun is REALLY usefull in pve, especially on trashes (ICC anyone ?). Also excellent in PvP, one more stun for a warrior, say what ? 5% base health is also very good. It's around 400-500 extra pv. More than one extra stamina gem slot. It's huge, sir. Shut the fuck up.

Darkflight (3 min cooldown)
Activates your true form, increasing movement speed by 70% for 10 sec. (Extra Sprint spell Rogues?)

Unless you were referring to..

Two Forms (1.5 sec cooldown)
Turn into your currently inactive form.

It's still pretty bad ass, enough to make me roll one for the fun of it.

This except I don't think resistance racials are as worthless as the other ones listed. Troll regeneration is at least extraordinarily funny (Troll Regeneration Must Be Nerfed).

+15 herbalism? +10 enchanting? +10 JC? Saves you maybe 50g to level that one profession, gives you absolutely nothing if you don't want that profession.

I think Find Treasure might come in handy when Archaeology comes out, but other than that, useless..

We haven't heard much from Cataclysm changes yet, but I predict every racial being reworked, maybe homogenized to create better balance, who knows.. But one thing they should do would be to remork talents like Sword Specialization.. It gives 3 Expertise, why not let it give 1% spell hit while using a sword for casters, and the command racial for orcs which increases pet dmg does nothing to Warriors / Rogues etc

I don't feel too bad for orc warriors and rogues, 5 expertise with axes and fists is a big deal. The AP/SP racial is good for everyone. Orcs have the best all around PvE racials horde side.

Find treasure have been useful, Throwing weapon specialization have never been even slightly useful. Those racials which gives you less chance to be hit by spells and so on are actually useful in PvP and maybe for tanks. Those racials which increases your skill with professions comes usefull when it comes to skilling them up, not very usefull, but not totally wasted.

... Oh, yeah, troll regeneration is worthless as well.

For druids, tauren racials are worthless. 1 gem slot is 480 health. The racial is worth 371.
The stun is not usable in bear form.

So yes, tauren racials are truly worthless and the grandparent is right. As soon as Troll Druids come, there will be no more Tauren Druids left

An AOE silence that also can be used as an interrupt in PvE? Yes, it's totally useless.

The only class that would use that as an int is paladins(which i am)rogues which have kick on a lesser cd and dks once again another int which works smaller cd. No mage/lock/hunter is gonna run up to mobs to int. so once again its quite useless

I would've said Find Treasure... but now I say Underwater Breathing (Undead) - It became completely useless once everyone got their Underwater Gauge increased by +300% or something...

All races should have competitive PvE and PvP talents.

Orcs, Worgen and Goblins are a good example of how all classes should be.

Worgen get a 1% dps increase, a Dash, disease resistance and skinning thing.
Goblin get a "reputation discount advance", a +1% haste, a jump or a rocket, and something else.
Orc get a pet damage increase, axe/fist expertise, a ap/sp trinket and resistance to stun...
Trolls get extra dmg to beasts, haste trinket, bow crit chance increase and resistance to slows...

Many other races are acceptable, but imo Forsaken, Tauren and Gnome have been looking bad for too long.
Even Draenei have it that no one needs more than 1 of them... because of the aura.

As for blood elves... a good PvP trinket that also returns a reasonable amount of mana or a neglegible amount of energy.
I prefered if it had a ramp-up mechanic of some sort granting extra something by stacking something... somewhat like it used to.

With WotF you can break fear 3 times every 1.5 minutes.

1) Trinket
2) WotF 45 seconds later
3) WotF 45 seconds later

With Human Racial you can break fear once every 2 minutes.


You seemed to miss this fact.

WotF is still overpowered imo and needs further nerfs. Maybe 1 minute cooldown.

Undead:

Will of the Forsaken: Removes any Charm, Fear and Sleep effect. This effect shares a 45 sec cooldown with other similar effects.
Underwater Breathing: Underwater breath lasts 233% longer than normal.
Shadow Resistance: Reduces the chance you will be hit by Shadow spells by 2%.
Cannibalize: When activated, regenerates 7% of total health every 2 sec for 10 sec. Only works on Humanoid or Undead corpses within 5 yds. Any movement, action, or damage taken while Cannibalizing will cancel the effect.

Human:

The Human Spirit: Spirit increased by 3%.
Sword Specialization: Expertise with Swords and Two-Handed Swords increased by 3.
Perception: Increases your Stealth detection.
Mace Specialization: Expertise with Maces and Two-Handed Maces increased by 3.
Every Man for Himself: Removes all movement impairing effects and all effects which cause loss of control of your character. This effect shares a cooldown with other similar effects.
Diplomacy: Reputation gains increased by 10%.

Please, don't even try to compare humans and undeads. Whoever claims they're even has clearly no clue what he is talking about. Humans can break fear just once every 2 minutes? Fine, but they get another trinket slot in return. That's an unbelievable advantage.

lol i got halfway throguh and saw find treasure as the worst? at least it has some benefit like being able to easily spot concealed loot boxes in the world, there might not be much more in WotLK as in TBC or vanilla but that's better than REGENNING FIVE HP PER SECOND!!!!!! troll regen is hands down the worst racial around.... followed by thrown specialization.

Why do people assume I talking about Darkflight? Darkflight at least does ssomething unlike "Two forms" which is purely cosmetic.

you can't even use it in combat, which is pretty much all of WoW.
