heirlooms between factions ?

hey ,

i've read earlier on the forum that you could send heirlooms between factions simply by sending mails like when it's within the same faction.
But when I try doing it, it just says something about it must be within the same alliance.

How come ?
Is it because it's crap and you simply just can't ?

Is it heirloom items or heirloom enchants you are trying to send?

I have succesfully transfered items crossfactions, but been unable to mail the reputation enchants.

I've mailed across several BoA shoulders, chests and weapons without a hassle.
Not sure about the other items though.

Make sure its on the same server.

Also you can ONLY send BoA items, dont try sending BoA items + 10 gold, or BoA Items + a blue bracer you found, its BoA or nothing.
