You missed it! Blue post got put up just recently about ele --
Your Lightning Overload talent now makes you fire so many lightning bolts that your entire mana pool instantly drains and stops regen for the rest of the fight so you can go AFK and eat pizza and laugh at how you still only did 3k dps with your whole mana pool.

You could just make a windshear macro with a new icon to avoid any confusion. Which you should do any, with a nie little /stopcasting command before it.
Personally, I just bound it to my ` key.RETH
