A lot of interchangeable talents there of course, due to playstyle/comp/gear level:

-Silent Resolve: Some drop this talent for 3s

-Absolution: Just seen as filler in the spec above, it's not a bad place to put the point.

-Reflective Shield: Great in BG/2s, mediocre to weak in 3s.

-Enlightenment: Great for haste gearing, poor for crit gearing.

-Renewed Hope: Many get away with just 1/2 here.

-Divine Aegis: Great for crit gearing and if your comp is having survivability issues.

    Holy Spec > Imp Renew

Glyphs: Penance and PS are must haves. Smite is usually taken for the third in the offensive build linked above, defensive builds that forgo going so deep into the Holy tree could take Glyph of PW:S or even Glyph of Inner Fire instead.

Problem is, the kind of setups priests are healing atm, you almost always end up needing to spec offensively to some variation of 54/17, since that's the thing that priests bring: versatility and burst.

You can spec defensively like you did of course (although I'm kind of skeptical on the whole not taking Grace bit), but I really do think the factor of the priest that contributes to an RMP's overall success is his/her ability to move from offensive to defensive and back as the timing permits, and to be able to do both extremely well and fast.

Disagree a tiny bit there. Searing Light is not as vital for survival as Blessed Recovery. A cookie cutter specc would look like this:
    http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#bxcru...fRtbhtI:ATbVzM
Nice mitigation and good healing + possible sustained damage (follow glyphs too)

    Alternative would be:
    http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#bxcrhhGiRIoffotbezh
    More mitigation oriented

Blessed Recovery is a very poor talent, that would only be good in 1/3 for dispel protection in maybe 2v2. Searing Light is pretty much mandatory for any kind of an offensive spec.

I don't know what some of you guys are blabbering about, this is the cookie cutter disc specc, nothing else:
    http://talent.mmo-champion.com/?prie...P_5QggA,,11159

1/2 renewed hope because you pw: s as often as you can basically and 50% is enough.

1/2 grace because well, you'll be healing alot, 50% to add the buff 3% increased healing that stacks 3 times. Hell yes? 9% more healing is amazing for 1 point.

Wheater you use stuff like Absolution and/or enlightment depends on your comp. Go with mage? You want enlightment and if you go with a rogue you want asolution.

But the holypoints is quite basic, nothing you should change.

Talking glyphs the 2 must have are glyph of penance and glyph of pain suppression, other than that people tend to use glyph of smite for 2v2 or glyph of inner fire for 3v3, usually, but ofcourse people vary.

    Re: Disc priest pvp talents

Based on what gear and what comp you are running, your healing style how offensive you are and such should determine where you put a portion of your talents. If you don't mana burn in 3's don't pick it up. If you get sat by cleave with limited peels get Martydom so you can mess up fake casting and limit your silence. If you hate when your PW:S gets instantly stripped from purge spec silent resolve. The only talents that should be mandatory and maxed in any spec are, Desperate prayer, Healing focus, Unbreakable will, Imp inner fire, imp PW:S, Meditation, Inner focus to go 05sr, mental strength, focused power, focused will, power infusion, 1/2 renewed hope, 1/2 grace, Rapture, borrowed time, Penance. As long as you have theese talents feel free to place your other points based on playstyle/comp and what you feel will help you the most in arena based on your strengths as a disc priest or your weakness. Personaly I like to glyph Penance/PW:S/Pain supression. PW:S is great because it crit heals for around 2400 which is always a bonus when globals are limited I also spec DA so my power word shield crits also absorb a small chunk of damage that can be make or break.

As for reflective shield it is iffy because it is only a damage shield on yourself. enlightenment helps if you are looking for faster GCDS with haste gear. Searing light helps if you plan on playing very offensively in your comp with less longevity.
