The guild I'm in can work around whatever DXE doesn't do. We haven't had any issues yet, but so far the reaction in the guild has been:

Right, right. The original versions of DXE wouldn't announce to raid. Does the newer versions have that option in you are leader or have assist in raids?

I don't know - I have not been lead or assist recently, nor have I looked into this. I'm at work otherwise I'd find out for you.

Ah NP. We're doing Coliseum tonight anyway so I can run it and DBM at the same time. If I get double warnings (since we don't need the warnings at all there) I'll know its working myself.

It does a lot of things using sounds and beeps. It takes some getting used to, but it's really useful

Edit: As in the beeps replace a raid warning, and you're forced to figure out what that beep meant, or was timed to.
