    1. Is the link actually linking to www.worldofwarcraft.com ? (Hover over it, don't click it)
    2. Do you play on US servers? (Because EU should go www.wow-europe.com I guess)
    3. Can you log in your account?

If you did nothing wrong you have nothing to fear. You are probably not looking at the real source of the sender, just the address they want you to see. Also, never click any links from any email they send you, EVER. Also, "If you are unable to successfully verify your password .using the automated system" < that is extremely fishy.

For one, you can log in to battle.net yourself by going to www.battle.net and check if anything looks off, if not, just delete and keep playing.

    It's fake.
As Purno says, his no 1 point. Is the hotlink really linking to where it's supposed to?

Fake fake fake. "Do not modify your settings afterwards blaha" says it all.

Also, spoofing what adress a mail comes from is very easy. Never trust an email adress because you've seen it before. I can fake noreply@blizzard.com as sender, it's easy.

What you should do is make a brand new email account for your battlenet login so they stop spamming you

Its a scam heres a few ways to point out.

    1. Blizzard are retards they will ban you when they wan't dont expect a warning.
    2. They're obvously physic and knwo your going to break the rules this warning is to prevent that.

Just obvious to me maybe if i got the email i would have had a panic attack for a few minutes, If they are going to ban you they will without telling you because obviously you broke a rule before hand.

Wries is quite knowledgeable about spoofing emails, An expert?

Don't worry about that. I recieved one just like that, and nothing happened even though I ignored it.

Blizzard always use your account name in the beginning of the mail. Atleast thats what the support told me.
