It would be desirable to learn your opinion about it that it is better to take.

Improved Demonic tactics, without it your only reason why your in a raid, demonic pact, has a horrible uptime.

idt doesnt affect the uptime of dp that much.

I bet you´ll never even notice the diffrence. 20% of your critical strike chance isn´t that much at all.

Unless you're under hit capped and there's no feasible way to get hit capped, spec into suppression. The mana reduction only affects two spells in your rotation (COE/COD and Corr), and 4% is practically nothing considering how little you will be casting one of these.

IDT will give you higher DP uptime and slightly higher dps. Sitting at 4k sp, fully buffed... 400 raid sp > 4% mana reduction :P

the felguard is a pet not a spell. correct me if im wrong but don't you need to be hit capped from gear for your felguard

5-7% more cirt for felguard seems like a solid estimation.

(BTW I´m 2/3 too) But it still just adds about nothing to your DP uptime.

This is because without IDT the DP uptime is alrerady at nearly 100%.

ive actually been considering specing into sup, just because with the new gea ri have obtained ive had to drop spirit items for my hit items and droped like ~150 sp, i feel like im defeating the purpose of being a demo lock, however my pDPS has skyrocketed since.
if any one has legitimate math as the + and - to this slight change in spec itd be greatly apreciated

The problem is that any comparison of Imp Demonic Tactics vs Suppression is going to be heavily dependent on your raid make up. Any calculation with DP uptime becomes a raid dps question which is hard to figure out. If you are just looking at personal dps I'd guess that taking 2 points of suppression when you need the hit is going to be an improvement and if you are sacrificing a lot spell power, or spirit that results in spell power to keep your hit up with out using the talent you might even get better rDps with suppression because of a higher DP with slightly lower up time ending up better over all.

So 2% hit is around 65 hit rating. If we say, replace that 65 hit with 65 spirit instead or haste (or somewhere around that), we have to compare that to 5% DP uptime. If we consider 95% of the fight we have DP up, lose another 5% by dropping the talent, we lose say 400 spell power, for a 300 second fight, a full 15 seconds extra would be lost without that 400 spell power. For the entire fight that would be 20 spell power lost. Consider for demo we have a scale factor of 1.49, times this by 20 and that is 29.8 dps lost, 65 haste however, is 69.7 dps. BUT how many raid members would lose that spell power? In a 25man raid, more than what 65 haste is worth, in a 10man, perhaps more than 2 others and 2/3 healers. I would still say the DP buff is more valuable.

All this maths maybe completely wrong. Feel free to pick and prod at it where you can, i'm no maths genius but i THINK this is correct. So for that reason, i'm pretty sure no amount of stats will override the loss to raid dps. Of course you're not going to always get haste, you might get spirit, and the numbers aren't going to be exact, neither will your scale factors be the same, but still, you can work this out for yourself and i'm still fairly confident that DT wins.
