We at Influx are a friendly mature raiding guild and are looking for some suitably geared players to have fun with three nights a week as we progress through Icecrown Citadel.
Founded at the launch of Burning Crusade in 2007, Influx is a friendly 'semi' casual raiding guild that caters to those individuals out there who want to raid while still enjoying the wonders and mysteries of real life.
While we only raid three nights a week, we take our raiding very seriously and expect high determination, a willingness to learn and a high level of concentration during our raids. Although we do not raid as often as others we’re still looking for people who are committed to progression and working towards a kill. Even with our lower frequency of raiding, we still look to progress at a competitive rate: hence our definition of “semi-casual”!
Our goals include clearing 25 man content - including hard modes.
For those with a little extra time (variety is the spice of life after all!) guild members also schedule 10 man raids (on most nights). We do also have a few active PvPers in both Battlegrounds and Arenas so you should always be able to find something to do. There is no requirement to attend these, but they are offered to ensure that there is always something to do when playing as a member of Influx. We do hope that you take the time to join us in activities outside of 25 man raiding, as they are often a good challenge and offer a chance to socialise with our members.
If you are accepted into the guild following your application, you will be offered a trial. You must demonstrate that you have the right qualities before you will be offered full membership. This will take at least three weeks, but it may last longer depending on your attendance, personality and ability. We want to ensure not only that you are right for Influx, but that Influx is right for you.
Our requirements for applicants are very generous. As we focus on both real life and raiding, we only require an applicant to attend at least 2 out of 3 of our official 25 man raids a week. Additionally, if you are thinking of applying you should be social, helpful and come fully equipped with a functional sense of humour. You should also be suitably geared for the content we currently run (ICC/TOGC). While we’re not going to be using the fail metric of “gearscore”, we do expect you to be able to step into the raid team immediately. Therefore, having some experience in the current raid content is definitely a bonus.
At this time we are specifically looking for the following classes/specs to join our battles in Icecrown Citadel:
Hunter (any spec)
Disc Priest
Holy Priest
Holy Paladin
Resto Druid
Resto Shaman
However as a guild who invests in our players, and expects our membership to learn and develop, we will always consider any exceptional applicant. If you think you’ve got what it takes then please do apply!
If you would like more information about Influx, or have any other questions, then please feel free to whisper one of our friendly recruitment officers:

If you want to join, and like the sound of spending three of your nights a week with us, then let us know! We’re always looking for more skilled and sociable people to join us in Icecrown Citadel and beyond, so go on – apply today! http://www.wow-influx.com/apply.php
We're updating our recruitment needs once again, and are now looking for all classes and specs as we look to step up our raiding and get even more progress!
Additionally, a few weeks back we completed the Valithria Dreamwalker encounter, which puts us at 9/12 in ICC 25.
It's been a little while since I've updated this... I blame the Icelandic volcano stranding me halfway across the world. But, I'm back and with me comes a new update on how we're doing over on Neptulon as Influx!
We've now cleared up to the Lich King, putting as at 11/12 in Icecrown Citadel on both 10 and 25 player difficulties.
