Weird shit happens when I use png. I don't know if maybe it's a corrupt file on Photoshop, but I lose quality when I save as PNG. I showed my 30 seconds to mars background here awhile back when I saved the background as .png, and the red lettering became incredibly pixelated and distorted. I saved as highest quality JPEG, and it looked fine.

but how do you permanently hide the taskbar? how do get rid of desktop items, but still be able to use them? I cant recolour any tiles?

Uh, I got rid of the file awhile ago when I did a fresh install of Rainmeter, sorry. Try dicking with it. There's a little wrench near the top right of the icons that opens your config menu. Use that.
