What do you guys say we talk about Thrash Now? I have a question. What's your favorite Megadeth Era? Since Megadeth is one of my top favorite bands, I have a really hard time deciding... while I think Friedman was godly with his guitar solos, Megadeth sounded that more ''raw'' to me in the first cd's.

Just listen at 3:30 when Mustaine starts singing , that riff, his voice... that screams ''thrash'' to me. So fucking good !

Dulliath has already been boggled by my stance on this, but I actually prefer Traced In Air to Focus.

Same here I like Traced in Air more than Focus. Yet Focus is pretty amazing too. Liked Carbon Based Anatomy E.P aslo.

I even checked out Aeon Spoke.

Oh, also I prefer Cynic's demos to Focus. I don't dislike Focus or anything (It's actually in my top 20 albums ever.) I just don't like the vocoder they use. Their 1991 demo is absolutely amazing though.

The demos as in Reflections of this dying world? I never really got into them.

Manowar / Judas Priest / Metallica / Iron Maiden - Im a fan of all those matal bands and i started listening to them because well, my cousin is like a heavy-metal fanatic and has been like that fo over 15/20 years, then he gave me some of their albums, and started listening them and i fell in love with them.

I think I just fell in love with you. Manowar is easily my #1 Favorite Metal Band EVER. No other band that I've ever listened to has NEARLY as much "Metal-Pride" as they do. I'm not even joking.

As much as I love Opeth and the above songs is one of my favorite, I must say I have mixed feelings about Heritage. Personally I only find I enjoy a few songs on the album. I have friends who are pretty big metal heads (and music afficianados) who swear by it though. Maybe it's just me. I give them credit though, as a band it's been wonderful to watch them progress and grow over the years.
