There's nothing quite like blasting Mastodon in the mornings when you're vacuuming the house.
Speaking of Mastodon
They're (short for They are) describes a group of people. "They're/They are a nice bunch of guys." Their indicates that something belongs/is related to a group of people. "Their car was all out of fuel." There refers to a location. "Let's set up camp over there." There is also no such thing as "could/should OF". The correct way is: Could/should'VE, or could/should HAVE.
Chimaira in their prime
<3 Andols Herrick on this track^^
"It’s now very common to hear people say, ‘I’m rather offended by that.’ As if that gives them certain rights; it’s actually nothing more. It’s simply a whine. It’s no more than a whine. ‘I find that offensive,’ it has no meaning, it has no purpose, it has no reason to be respected as a phrase. ‘I am offended by that.’ Well, so fucking what?”

Something a bit different from my usual fare:
Probably the best avantgarde metal cd ever, at least it's my favourite:
That was absolutely fantastic, Uldreth.

I will not be outdone in Post-Metal postcount!
Randomly listening to this, I have their 2 newer albums but not this one so I was checking it out. I think the newer stuff is better but this is still pretty good stuff
Flemish pagan metal, I love them. They were insane on avv fest.
Prey on the weak and you will survive, prey on the strong and you will live.
Holy shit, this is awesome. The harsh vocal buildup in the second half reminds me of Rosetta (SHELL OF A MAN...).
Also stop slacking in the songrating topic, my last couple of post-things got downrated by plebs

Gonna see them supporting Converge (along with The Secret and Touché Amore) in december, I am exceedingly excited about that concerto!
This doesn't really count as metal, it's more like experimental post rock, but "The Seer" can make even the biggest metal purist bow down to its awesomeness. Swans remind me a lot of some of the mellower Neurosis cds.

Been a while since the last Gorgoroth post, so I thought I'd post this classic. Always thought of it as the best Gorgoroth album, and it's also one of the first black metal albums I bought:
