It's beyond ridiculously good. Had the stream on non-stop repeat for days.

Need to go pick it up, but already spent a ton of money recently.

2013 seems to be the year of the Hip-Hop for me, but this Altar of Plagues LP is astoundingly good.
Only had the time to listen to one song of this LP yet and it was really good.
I hope I can finally listen to the rest of it today...

    New Altar? Sweeeet.

Need to buy it asap. I don't generally buy alot of albums, the vast majority is downloaded. But some things just need to be bought.

    Again, agreed.

It's currently streaming over on the Terrorizer site. Immolation as always is amazing and this album does not disappoint.

The New Orphaned Land Album is comming out next Month , already ordered a LP from the Band <3. I wonder how much metal is present this time. I loved their shifting between Prog Metal and Rock on the last two Albums very much.
There will be a preview of one of the new songs in the next days (may 13th or so). Anyone waiting too :P?

Made my day. Thanks for that.

Random moment of today: was checking out Orphaned Land and noticed their drummer has a industrial sludge/doom metal sideproject called Grave in the Sky, with lyrical themes being "Movies' DVD subtitles". The hell? Need to check that out lol

Megadeth is releasing another song titled "Kingmaker" from the upcoming album "Super Collider" via some kind of fancy Twitter promotion within the hour. Probably to make up for the giant backlash the single caused. Reviews have described it as a full on thrash tune.

    EDIT:

Sounds pretty good, a little straight forward, but still good.

Melodic metalcore, that unlike the gothenburg-ish variant, does have extensive hardcore in it, with pretty beautiful atmospheres and guitar melodies.

New Deafheaven has leaked and I'm confirming what everyone says about it: it is breathtakingly good. I can even go as far as saying it may be one of the strongest contenders for metal album of the year for me so far, along with Paysage d'Hiver, Progenie Terrestre Pura, Shade Empire, The Ocean, Immolation and Summoning.
