    Better than Deafheaven. And Lantlôs.

New At The Gates will be released October 27th in Europe, and October 28th in North America. Source.

I really like Rusted Nail, but couldn't stand Through Oblivion.
Everything's gone is sort of weird; but Filtered Truth and When the world explodes are both great IMO.

Still waiting to listen to the whole thing.

At least it'll never be horrible to listen to.

God, I'm SO sad that I've missed their only concert here in Austria a while ago. Even had a ticket, but was too ill to go there on that day. :<

That was really fucking good. Wasn't expecting it at all.

Can't stop listening to Panopticon's Roads to the North. Totally brilliant.

Sprinkling in some Behemoth into my playlists lately too.

    Wait, that's a real band??
I thought that was a made up band they used for comedy effect in "The IT Crowd"??
    Too funny.

I'm an unapologetic fan of Cruelty and The Beast. Anything past that is pretty meh, though.

Cruelty could've been so much better if the production wasn't horrible.

I think Dead End had female vocals (on Come Clarity IIRC).

Still really interesting stuff for me.
Seeing them live in October for the third time, and their live show is always great.

I will certainly give you that. Production had much to be desired.

I enjoy quite a bit of metal. It's my favorite genre of music actually.

In other news, totally agree on In Flames. I'm so over their bullshit. *vomit*

Though I have been thinking this Morbid Slaughter record is not too shabby really. The aggression and uncomplicated arrangements are sorta refreshing. Ordered the vinyl. Gonna give it some proper spins with my new headphones.

Drooling over the new Sabbat box set. Gonna put in an order for my birthday.

    50euros, seriously ?

    My ticket's 28.
Is that a normal fare in Germany ?

(Also, Knot' and At the Gates are the two biggies for me.)

Eh. The last At the Gates record was super boring. The new tracks are decent enough but I am wary of them sticking some overlong, dreadfully tiring tracks right in the middle of the new record.

I suppose it's nice At the Gates are back though.

    Metalcore, whatever bro.
