I'm more of a symphonic-, speed-, power- Metal fan though I do enjoy my fair share of Megadeth or In Flames every now and then.

    But...
    Nightwish
    Sonata Arctica
    Firewind
    Lost Horizon

That sort of thing. Other than that I also listen to a lot of Rock (A lot of which is nearing Metal)

I like Organic Hallucinosis and Nihility more. This one was too simplistic. But nevertheless, it's not a waste of time like the new Morbid Angel. Vader's going to release a new album soon, let's hope they save us. And I want new albums from Behemoth and Nile.

My favorite bands growing up were Sepultura, Slayer and Pantera, but was listening pretty much everything I could get my hands on (including Megadeth, Testament, Manowar, Metallica up until the Black Album, Ozzy, etc. ). Gradually moved towards heavier stuff (Gorefest, Negura Bunget, Amorphis, early In Flames). Nowadays, I'm more into "folk metal" for lack of a better term - Ensiferum, Eluveitie, Finntroll, Suidakra, Korpiklaani.

Heheh, Negura Bunget are good. I am proud to have at least one good band from my country. If you like them you should try Urfaust, for a more...alcoholic experience.

    Soilwork and Disarmonia mundi

I got into that metal music by frostmage Noone by his amazing PvP Movie "Noone 3 Frostmage PvP"

Disarmonia Mundi - Ressurection Code song, and then I start listen to other songs and then I fell in love with "Bjorn Speed" vocal, then I saw that he's natural band is Soilwork

And now I'm Melodic Death Metal lover and Metalcore and everything that is Melodic and HARD at the same time

Melodeath is such a strong and emotional music, sometimes I think I'm gonna cry, if I'll play it Live with my guitar.

A few songs that I love:
Soilwork - Cranking the Sirens ( the whole song is AMAZING )
    Soilwork - The Akuma Afterglow
Soilwork - Let this river Flow
Dark Tranquility - The Treason Wall
    Disarmonia Mundi - Perdition Haze
    Disarmonia Mundi - Liquid Wings
    In Flames - Dead End
In Flames - Drenched in Fear
Scar Symmetry - The Illusionist ( such a strong begining )

So yeah, finally i find a metal thread

Classics for me, Judas Priest, W.A.S.P., Iron Maiden, Motley Crue etc....
I usually tend to 80's metal cause it was still original and pure awesome back then...

One last thing, this is a band from my hometown, they are rather good and do create some nice music so I'd like to ask you to give them a shot and support them if not only for the fact that it is metal

I think it's phenomenal, personally. Probably my 2nd favorite album of theirs, behind the spectacular Shogun. Maybe in time I'll grow to like In Waves more, as it is right now I think it's my favorite album overall released so far this year.

I'm probably bias though, Trivium has been my favorite band since '05 when Ascendancy was released.

Hmm, where's Death, Decapitated, Behemoth, Nile, or even [old] Morbid Angel in your playlist ? Rhetorically speaking, of course.

    Nevertheless, some good shit:

    Opinion on the new Decapitated?

I'm a bit disappointed, personally. Not a fan of the production and really dislike the new vocalist.

    Dream Theater #1 for me.

I also like Haggard, Moonspell, AC/DC
